About CIMA Ottawa
CIMA Ottawa (The Centre for Independent Media & the Arts) is a non-profit which promotes independent media and arts. We offer multimedia promotions and civic media training, and operate an FM station and podcast network in Ottawa. Our core values are leadership, integrity, community, diversity, culture, and access. We believe that independent media and arts are essential to a vibrant democracy and we are committed to fostering them in Ottawa and beyond.

Centre For Independent Media and Arts defines culture as the exchange of education and knowledge on points of heritage, art and formative experiences. Culture is meant to be shared and celebrated so that everyone can develop an appreciation of other cultures.

Governance
The Centre for Independent Media & Arts (CIMA) oversees four programs at uOttawa and is largely funded by the University of Ottawa Students’ Union as well as advertising and fundraising.
